HORSE SALE INFO
Riding lessons are available for all levels of riders in multiple disciplies.
Both Dusty & Tanya grew up horseback. Both were tough competition showing horses in both western & english disciplines throughout each of their youth years respectively. Both, as well, rodeo'd successfully in numerous events. They each have many years of experience and knowledge to pass on to anyone wanting to learn.
Tanya & her husband Bryan work with horses on a regular basis. They enjoy starting young horses from scratch and work towards building solid, versatile riding horses. Tanya also enjoys barrel racing.
Dusty continues to compete as much as possible in the barrel racing field all over Western Canada from jackpots to big barrel racings to rodeos. She also trains barrel horses to promote and sell. Aside from barrel racing, Dusty also enjoys team roping, breakaway roping and goat tying, which she competes on in amateur rodeo.

Lessons for students with their own horses:
Dusty considers it more coaching & mentorship than basic lessons (although she will provide just basic lessons if that's what the student wants).
"I will work with each student & their horse with what they have available to them, to help them be the best they can be & reach their goals, whether it be 4H achievement, 4H horse shows or local shows & gymkhanas. I want all students to really enjoy horsemanship; to have fun, be successful at the best they can be (whether they win first place or not) & to reach their goals!"
-Showing in 4H and horse shows:
Dusty also provides barrel racing mentorship:
"This is more than just barrel racing lessons. For those more serious about barrel racing as that is my main passion when it comes to horses. I will not only give you lessons, I will be your coach... really help you train your horse and help you be as competitive as you possibly can be. I attend most local barrel racing events, as well as numerous large scale barrel racings and rodeos. Barrel racing mentorship is designed to help you ease into the world of competitive barrel racing, really develop skill & passion for barrel racing & help you grow through obstacles along the way."
If you have an interest in any type of regular lesson, show/4H coaching or barrel racing mentorship, please feel free to contact me! Phone (204) 745-3317 or email
"You are the best teacher I could have! I know that you are so amazing at what you do because you make people feel like they are heard, understood, and cared about. You are also a huge encouragement and blessing to people and you make each person feel special/important and accepted!" - Johanna (current barrel racing student)

Guidelines for ALL lesson students*All students MUST wear proper riding attire EVERY lesson*
*jeans or riding pants (absolutely NO shorts)
*riding boots/cowboy boots with proper heel (absolutely NO sneakers or sandals)
This is for rider safety and is required without contest. If a student shows up without proper riding attire, they will not ride.
Helmets are encouraged for beginner riders and youth/children, but they are not required.
Lesson students assume all risks associated with equestrian activities. All lessons are "ride at your own risk".
A parent or guardian must be present with students under the age of 18 for each lesson.
We ask that all students come for lessons with a strong desire to learn. We will try our best to provide a fun learning environment that students will enjoy and will also grow in their horsemanship.
